XPS 9530, official audio drivers simply don't work

Trying to find a fix for the distorted audio on my XPS 9530, I want to install the latest audio drivers from the official website, which are these ones.

https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=hy9hg&oscode=w2021&productcode=xps-15-9530-laptop

The drivers are getting installed, everything seems it should work, except I simply don't have sound.

I have the volume slider, the little speaker icon from the taskbar don't have the "x" icon.

In My Dell app I have access to the Audio section.

In the Task Manager I have "WavesAudioService.exe", "WavesSvc64.exe" and "WavesSysSvc64.exe" running.

Going into Control Panel -> Sound -> right click on Speakers, I get the error "Failed to play test tone".

I tried 6.0.9597.1, A80 as well. Same problem.

SupportAssist it's not installing any Audio Drivers.

The only drivers that work are the ones that Windows Update installs, but I don't want those because they sound terrible.

Windows 11 24H2 26100.3476

Everything up to date.

It was a windows related issue. Even though it was a fresh install of windows, the drivers worked after I did a Windows Reset.

To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Then you must troubleshoot with them.  Click the "Get Help Now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. If already out of warranty, click here for the Dell out of warranty offering.
