XPS 9380 no lights, charging or boot up!!!

Hello Dell Community,
Two days ago, I plugged my laptop in to charge and when I came back the next morning it would not boot. There are no lights and no response to the power button. I have:
- Confirmed that the charger is working properly. I have tried two different Dell chargers on my other laptop.
- Pulled the battery out for five minutes and then reinstalled and pressed the power button for thirty and then sixty seconds. There was no change.
- Tried to power up the laptop without a battery and there were still no indicator lights at all.
When my old XPS had a swollen battery, I could remove the battery and the unit stioll worked. The fact that this does not work worries me a lot!!! Can anyone give me any ideas for further diagnostic ideas. I worry that my Mobo is dead, and the system is only three years old!!! Any help at all would be appreciated.

When you reset the system did you disconnect the battery and adapter then press and hold the power button down for 30 seconds? Then reconnect everything and try again. When you plug in the adapter does the light on the adapter go out or does it stay on?

Everything inside this system except for the solid state drive is on the mainboard, which you're conclusively have determined, has failed. If there's no sign of life at all even with the battery disconnected and on AC power, that's your path forward -- replace the system board.

Thank you for your reply. I did do the reset without power adapter, accessories and battery. I am sorry that I was unclear about that in my posting.

As to the lights after assembly I connected the power adapter and there are no lights at all
