XPS 17 9720, Camera not working
I just went to use the camera and all I get is a blank screen. We use it couple times a week, never had an issue. Pulled up the camera, stand alone, blank screen. Used a couple of apps that use the camera, blank screen. Uninstalled camera in device manager, rebooted, camera reinstalled as expected, still blank screen. Ran windows update, a couple of times. Ran Dell Update. Still just have a black screen.

I 'chatted' with support, via SupportAssist. They scheduled a camera replacement... I only have a couple weeks left on the service plan.

@AdrianG001 Thanks, I've done most of that already, will make sure I do it all again. The apps and stand alone 'act' like the camera is working, it's just a blank screen. For instance, if I close laptop, the apps will give an error saying camera is blocked or the lid is closed. If I try to open another app that uses the camera while I already have a different app using it, I get the "another app is using the camera, please close that app". I'm sure it's a setting or something happened after an update. I get no errors, just blank camera screen...
