Issues with bluetooth / audio. Soundcore Q35 Headphones on XPS 15 9530 - Seeking Solutions
Hello everyone,
I am experiencing consistent audio issues with my Soundcore Q35 headphones when connected to my Dell XPS 15 9530. The headphones pair successfully with the laptop, but the audio transmission is not working.
For context:
- The headphones work flawlessly when paired with my phone, so I believe the headphones themselves are not at fault.
- On rare occasions, I've managed to get the audio working by removing the Soundcore Q35 from my laptop's list of paired Bluetooth devices and then reconnecting them. However, this fix is not consistent and often results in the same audio issue.
Does any one has encountered a similar issue or can anyone provide potential solutions to this problem?

I got help from Dell support and we fixed the problem by installing the following drivers:
1. https://dell.to/3MpYhCi 2. https://dell.to/3u15FgN 3. https://dell.to/45RZid5

Bluetooth is usually very reliable. You may be having a specific issue but right now, just before Windows 11 23H2 comes out, some strange audio situations have been noticed.
One is, if you were using the Dolby Access, it is not currently functional. I just tried to use one of my Bluetooth headphones but could not get any sound. I am currently charging mine, just in case, but if I find anything I will advise.
For now, when you left click the sound icon in the Taskbar, does your headset show up?

My Bluetooth headphones is working fine now. If you have any pictures of what you are seeing in Windows, it may be helpful.

This is clearly not solved. I have recently purchased Dell XPS 15 and am completely up to date with the drivers. The last check was 1 week ago on 4th January 2024. But I have exactly the same problem with Bose QC45 headphones.
When I pair the headphones they work. If the laptop lid is shut and then reopened, the headphones link to the laptop but do not provide any sound. The system clearly knows the headphones are connected as no sound comes from the onboard speakers. Unfortunately nothing comes out of the headphones either.
If I disconnect the headphones and re-pair them, they work again for that "session".
I don't want to install the drivers suggested in case these are retrograde updates as they seem to be pretty old software relative to the last checks my sytem has done.
