Dell XPS 13 9315 camera stopped working after some update
Even though the camera appears in device manager and in bios, it is not recognized by all apps requiring a camera such as zoom, skype etc. The native windows 11 camera app gives an error message" we can't find your camera"-error code 0xA00F4244 No Cameras Are Attached.
I have premium Dell support, we have updated everything but no solution so far. They recommend a clean installation of Windows that is not a viable solution for me. Any ideas would be more than welcome

Hi everyone,
A new driver version 73.22000.0.13, A08 has been released to fix the integrated camera issue on the XPS 9315.
Please install it and let us know if it works for you. Your feedback is important!

This is impacting a large number of users, is there an ETA on solution or workaround until you figure out the issue? Neither Dell nor Microsoft has anything that works at the moment, including factory resets. Extremely frustrating especially for the camera given an application we use with video conferencing daily. Can you please escalate this @DELL-Nat M

@DELL-Nat M this new driver did not work - just installed it and did restart and same problem. two camera sensors are shown in device manager still, one with an error, and an error showing in the visual sensing controller device. screenshots below. Any eta for a fix that works? thank you for your attention to this widespread customer problem.

If you look at the other post on this subject, running to ten pages, you'll see the screen position can affect which parts of device manager have problems. This is a new discovery this weekend. Try closing the screen very slowly to see if device manager updates which entries have problems at various angles of closure. We may find this is a ribbon cable problem.

Same issue here as well. After loading the updated driver A08, the camera still was not found. Uninstalled Intel(R) Visual sensing controller device and re scanned devices. After reset I could get camera to activate. When camera was turned off, the devices (Camera Sensor OV01a and Intel(R) Visual sensing controller device) reset with errors and again
camera cannot be found. Can also uninstall reinstall the Intel(R) usb Bridge device and get the camera to temporarily activate until the camera app is turned off and the devices reset. Help appreciated.
