XPS 8960, no sound? no built-in speakers?
XPS 8960
I just bought Dell XPS 8960, but there is no sound. There is no built in speaker? Do I need to buy separate speakers?

Speakers are not built in desktops (except some special purpose systems). You will need external computer speakers.

a/w fireberd. you can use headset or separate BT speaker etc. Btw when you purchase Dell desktop, a separate Dell pc speaker is optional add on which most buyers skip as there are better ones out there
Dell desktop motherboard has no built in audio speaker connected except a beep speaker for error alert.
