XPS 8930, BIOS upgrade from1.1.26 to 1.1.31
My PC currently is running Bios 1.1.26 and I want to upgrade it to 1.1.31. Do I need to install 1.1.28 prior to installing 1.1.31?

The last BIOS firmware update was in 2023. If your system is working well, taking into consideration to leave it alone.
To proceed to BIOS firmware update, a couple of suggestions:
1. Follow Dell recommended process and update to 1.1.28 firmware and then update to 1.1.31 firmware.
2. Put BIOS firmware on a FAT32 formatted USB and run update from F12, one time boot menu.

Probably not, but it'd be easier to answer if you included the full system model number (i.e., Inspiron N5110, 3593, etc.).

Moved to xps desktop forum.
Try installing the newest one first -- if it fails, you may need the intermediate release.
