I PURCHASE NEW GRAPHIC CARD EVGA GEFORCE GTX 970 4GB SSC 04G-P4-3979 TO REPLACED Nvidia Geforce GT 730

I know this graphic card which I recently purchase EVGA GEFORCE GTX 970 4GB SSC 04G-P4-3979 isn't acceptable for my Dell XPS 8900 desktop PC because I need greater power supply for my PC the specs for the graphic card needs 500 watts or greater https://www.evga.com/products/specs/gpu.aspx?pn=D2307A93-F04B-4EF3-92F6-EB7008F53188

I wanna know what power supply I need purchase to upgrade in ordered to installed the graphic card I have purchase I am afraid of installing this graphic card inside my PC because not enough power supply do you have any recommendations for buying the power supply to be upgrade

Your XPS 8900 uses a standard ATX power supply.  Depending on your preference and budget, you can select the brand, style, that match your needs.  Besides the higher wattages for your system, remember to get the dimension of 140 mm depth to match with the chassis locking latch.

Also note that, due to the limited exhaust fan of the chassis, try the blower style graphics card with heated air exhaust through the bracket instead of open air which would circulated heated air inside the case.

Your 8900 stock psu of 460w is more than enough to support gtx 970.  The 500w evga recommendation is usually overestimated to account for everything possible but you do not need to follow that strictly.  Basic online psu calculator estimates

Load Wattage: 336 W
Recommended PSU Wattage: 386 W

of course if you upgrade to 500w psu, there is no disadvantage. But It is also unnecessary.
