Windows 11 Pro, Precision 5510, install help?
Good morning/evening,
Can anyone please help me to install Windows 11 Pro on my Dell Precision 5510 Xeon 32GB?
Obviously, it doesn't work through Windows Updates.
Which method did you use?
(Sorry for my English, I'm french)

I have installed W11 on systems with 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th gen CPU's.
But I have only helped a few people install on AMD systems.
First download the Installation Media: [ At least 8GB USB ]
https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows11
Make sure to backup all wanted DATA.
Go to your BIOS.
SATA Operation = AHCI
Anything Legacy = Disable
Anything UEFI = Enable
fTPM = Enable
Secure Boot = Disable
Save and exit.
Insert USB drive with W11.
Power-on tapping the f12 key.
Boot from USB and follow instructions.

this assumes your pc meets the criteria for win11.

The Precision 5510 driver page does not show Windows 11 because it is not on the validated list =

I am so sad in my heart. I am a young Ivorian, I struggled to be able to buy this dell precision 5510 computer at a gold price and when I saw windows 11 I was happy so since I prayed that your heart be tender thought of the person without much means like me to review computers like mine which is really sophisticated with two memory cards and a 16 gigabyte ream but you did not include it, yes the precision 5510 for the love of the neighbor, if it please insert the 5510

It works fine on a 5510. We use several in a corporate environment. We have not done any tweaking to pass any checks. We do use an MDT installation server, so that might differs from the normal setup routine. Windows 10 drivers are used.
