Transfer entirely windows 10 to another laptop
Hi everyone, after a series of complications with my laptop I am waiting for a replacement of this laptop!
Is there a way to completely save Windows 10 as an image and install it on a new laptop when it arrives? I have some settings that took me 1 week and I wouldn't want to spend another week doing it.
Thanks in advance!

Two issues. First the old disc image with hardware specific drivers is not compatible with a different/new PC.
Second, the Windows OS delivered with a new PC is an OEM version and only legally licensed for the PC it was delivered with.
However If you want to try it, and this is not sanctioned by Dell and no responsibility, first thing to do is make a complete disc image (all partitions on the disc) to a separate disc. Then if the old won't work, you can recover to the new PC's disc image. Or remove the disc from the new PC and install the disc from the old PC if it will fit.
Along with the disc image of the new PC's drive, do the same thing with your old PC's drive, make a full disc, all partitions, to a separate drive.
To "transfer" you do a restore of the disc image to the new PC's drive.
The free (and popular) Macrium Reflect is suggested for all the disc imaging. You will also need a bootable Macrium Reflect USB flash drive to boot and do the image restore. Macrium Reflect has a procedure to create the bootable drive.
