Beta was available yesterday and announced today! Please try it and let us know.
It's only the first beta, and there will be another, but your early feedback is appreciated!

It will be going into beta first. Stay tuned for formal announcements. Sorry, I can't give you specific dates without an NDA in place.

Hi Jon,
I'm interested in Zero Clients!
I havt to do an evaluation for 2000 clients.
I will be happy to include zero client in the evaluation, if they really works together with a Quest broker.
Is it possible to test a zero client?
Regards from Switzerland

This software is aimed at repurposing PCs and not at dedicated Zero Clients, for example, the products released by Wyse, Fujitsu etc.

Hi Levis. Exactly what Matt said. A "zero PC" is a PC without maintenance - it might even not have a hard disk! The connecor for Zero PCs turns a PC into a zero PC. It's nothing to do with hardware thin clients.

Hello Jon
That is to say that I can boot the PC with it. Ok, I try to equal it, as I am in search of such a solution.
I would like to have a USB stick, which has a bootable OS and has the connector for the vWorkspace broker.
I think that would be the zero-client approach.
I have a zero clients in my office, which have no operating system and even without hard disk, but unfortunately not compatible with the vWorkspace broker. I'm looking for something that is compatible with your broker.

The Quest Zero PC is available as a PXE image, USB stick or Live CD. I believe that you know Bastiaan, I will ask him to call you to further discuss our options.

Hello all,
If the Quest Zero PC is available as a USB stick, why it's nothing to do with hardware thin clients? We really need a normal PC for what?(I'm looking for the difference between Zero PC and Zero Client)
Thank you & Regards,

Hi Oriol,
You could attach a USB stick with the vWorkspace Connector for ZeroPCs to a thin client just the same as a desktop class PC. Though, that is not its intended purpose and results will vary.
The purpose for the Connector for ZeroPC is to allow an organization to leverage their existing PC hardware, converting it to a "no maintenance" device, rather than investing in new PCs, thus providing for a more economical transition to managed thin clients.

Thank you very much!
If It's not too much trouble I want you to ask if you know about some technical documents explaining the operation of Zero PC's technology: How it provides the security(If we work with USB-stick attached on an existing PC), wich is the process used to build the connection, and documents with other important issues.
