speedup pnshell.exe
Hi all, Is there a option to speedup the pnshell.exe? some users that have a lot of printers take 1.5 minutes to login.... i know that delete printers will help, but is there a other option?

Hi Sander,
A technique I've used in the past is to do the following:
On the Terminal Server
1. Click Start | Run | Gpedit.msc
2. Expand User Configuration | Windows Settings | Scripts | Logon
3. Add C:\windows\system32\pnshell.cmd as the logon script.
4. Open Regedit.
5. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
6. Edit AppSetup and remove PNshell.cmd, from the list leaving UsrLogon.cmd
What this will do is allow the User to interact with their Desktop and start working whilst pnshell sets up in the background.
Thanks, Andrew.
