Remote control "greyed out" in vWorkspace Management Console?
Hi!
We are using Windows Server 2008 R2 on our terminal servers (RDS) and our Connection Brokers.
vWorkspace is version 7.1
When I expand a RDS-server and right-click to remote control a user, that option is "greyed out" (se attached image). All other options are available.
Is there a way to fix this?
Regards,
Alexander

Hello,
Right Click on Locations and click Properties
Click RDP Connection Restrictions
Check the box "Enable RDP remote administration control"
You'll now get the option to remote control.
By the way, officially, Remote Control is only supported with Windows XP and Windows 2003.
Thanks, Andrew.

Nice, thank you Andrew!
Tried to remote control a W2K8 R2, and got a protocol error.. So I will wait for the next version.

Ok, so maybe in 7.2 we have support for 2008 R2?

I remotely controlled a 2008 R2 session this week with a 7.1 Install... unless I was dreaming
