MokaFive Orphaned Objects

I am new to Mokafive Suite and I have run into a position where the primary image store has orphaned objects.  These were created when I was trying to upload an image and it failed due to the primary image store ran out of disk space.  This is in our User Acceptance area as we have not gone into production yet.

The image store is a separate server on the same domain.

My question is does anyone know the correct method to remove these orphaned objects from the image store?

Thank you

Hi David,

If the LivePC is not showing in the MokaFive console then the update most likely failed prior to registering in the database. You can verify this by checking the tables dbo.livepcs and dbo.Livepc_files.

Hi David,

Can you post a screensshot showing where you see the orphaned objects. Are these listed under the Live PC images tab in the MokaFive Console?

If you login to the console as an Administrator are you offered the option to delete the images?

Hi David,

Thank you for your reply

The items that I claim that are orphans are contained within the \\imagestore\c$\Program Files (x86)\MokaFive\m5fs\master-1 directory and taking up space

Example

\\image store\c$\Program Files (x86)\MokaFive\m5fs\master-1\testwin7image

\\image store\c$\Program Files (x86)\MokaFive\m5fs\master-1\ThisisLive

The testwin7image was a failed upload and never did appear in the console.  The "ThisisLive" is the current livepc.

I could easily just delete the failed uploaded folder, but I do not know the repercussions, due to the database entries that could be left behind, as I have been caught before

Regards David
