Farm Setting for All Users
My apologies if I missed this answered somewhere, but I couldn't find it anyway. I have a thin client, running vWorkspace 8.0 AppPortal. The users sign in individually as opposed to a shared login. Is there a way for me to load the config settings of the App Portal for all users? Otherwise, I will have to have them each log in, and load the config file. So basically, I am trying to have the config file automatically load for all users. Is this possible? Thanks in advance.

Hi Kevin,
Just to follow up on what Greg said, there is a KB article here
Also, there is more detail behind the process starting from this page in the admin guide
http://documents.software.dell.com/DOC262967
I hope this helps!
Thanks, Sam

Yes you can. Have a look at page 366 of the 8.0 Admin Guide.
When a user starts AppPortal for the first time, AppPortal attempts to
configure itself automatically. It does this by locating and reading a file named
config.xml using the following order of locations:
If a config.xml file is not located during the start up, you can enter a server name
or URL to be used to load the config.xml file.
