Failed to find managed domain information in database & Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005

Provisioning Windows 8 VM's from my template fails and causes the following error in rd Broker auditing log.

I'm running vWorkspace 8 with seperate Hyper-V hosts (no SCVMM).

any clues?
