Drive Mapping are too slow for User Policies
I have vWorkspace 7.2 and Parallels 4.6.12.
I have set up drive mappings in vWorkspace.
In User Profiles in vWorkspace, I pointed the My Documents to one of these drive mappings.
I receive an error that the location is unavailable for My Documents.
I have noticed that the drive mappings take a few seconds to complete after log on.
If I want to make this work will I need to use AD login scripts?
Please do not say yes. I like mapping drives through vWorkspace better.
Thanks,
Jeff

Hi Jeff,
Rather than redirecting My Documents to a Mapped Drive, why not redirect it to the UNC path that the mapped drive points to?
Eg,
\\servername\%username%This way, you don't have to wait for the drives to map.
Thanks, Andrew

Hi jeff,
Can you post screenshots of your config?

That is a good idea. Which works. I guess I am too lazy and would like to only create one policy instead of 14. But, at least it works.
Thanks!
