Computer stuck in 'Powering On' after deletion
Hi guys,
I was testing something and deleted the wrong VM from SCVMM... Now in vWorkspace the VM is seen in changing state and I cannot delete it... i.e. it's been deleted from SCVMM/Hyper-V but still lives on in vWorkspace. I cannot delete the Computer group as it's not empty and I can't delete the computer as it doesn't exist!
I want to delete the whole group, which isn't live so I don't mind losing it... However I cannot zap the whole of vWorkspace
Any ideas?

Right click the desktop and select 'delete', once the dialogue box is open before you click OK hold down CTRL and SHIFT, once you click OK you'll get a 'kill' dialogue box. This should do it.

Hehe, it may be time for us to promote that 'back door' item to a regular feature. There are certainly some valid cases for needing to forcibly remove a VM from the vWorkspace database. Btw, our Remove-QVWComputer PowerShell cmdlet has a -ForceKill parameter. http://wiki.vworkspace.inside.quest.com/index.php/Remove-QVWComputer
