Auto-Logoff after certain period of time...?
Hi,
I've started rolling out our VDI in public which is used by our students, I have noticed majority of our students they don't logoff their session and they just disconnect the session. It's an overhead management for the helpdesk guys to visit the Desktop Group and forcibility logoff any disconnected session from the Students Group.
Is there a way I can auto Logoff any disconnected sessions which passed 15/30 minutes?
If not, I'm sure this can be done using vWorkspace PowerShell, if the answer to the above question no and Yes to the PowerShell, can you please point me to download link of PowerShell?

Hi,
Answer to this query;
Apply a group policy setting to force the logoff of disconnected terminal services sessions after a period off time.
- Open the group policy editor and select an appropriate policy object or create a new one if required.
- Browse to Computer configuration | Policies | Administrative Templates | Windows components | Remote Desktop Services | Remote Desktop Session Host | Session Time limits
- Locate the policy setting 'Set time limit for disconnected sessions' enable this setting
- From the drop-down list select the desired time limit for disconnected sessions
If you enable this policy setting, disconnected sessions are deleted from the server after the specified amount of time. To enforce the default behavior that disconnected sessions are maintained for an unlimited time, select Never. If you have a console session, disconnected session time limits do not apply.
