Vostro 3584 ssd upgrade to 512GB
I have a Vostro 3584 that came with a 256GB NVMe SSD.
I want to upgrade it to 512GB and I see that Crucial, Kingston and other sellers offer up to 2TB NVME SSDs as compatible.
Problem is that the manual says it supports only up to 256GB NVMe and up to 2TB SATA 2.5".
I wanted to know if anybody has successfully installed a NVMe SSD larger than 256GB on it.
I know I could just add a SATA SSD, but I am about to buy a XPS 8940 that comes with a 512GB NVMe which I plan to replace with a 2TB, so I will already have the 512GB NVMe available.

Welcome to the Dell Community @lps1
Dell manuals are a good referance for what was sold with the laptop.
They in no way reflect the limitation of the hardware.
2TB is compatable.
