Fingerprint scanner on Dell Vosotro i3 11th generation
Hi
I am thinking of buying above laptop but I do not want the fingerprint scanner. Is there any way to set laptop up just using a Pin, please?

Yes -- you simply set the system the way you want it. You need not use the touch sensor even if it's present.

Thank you very much. Very clear now. I think the PIN rather than Password is a great idea especially if your device does not leave the house, as mine doesn't. . It is so quick & easy to remember. The fingerprint option is good also, but I am elderly and it does not suit me.
