Dell Vostro 5402 battery lasts 50 minutes per charge.

Hey,
My Dell Vostro 5402 battery lasts 50 minutes- 1 hour per charge.
Is this okay? I started being on move and I don't enjoy the PC as it's battery keeps running out at the middle of my work.

The laptop is three years old. At that age, it's likely that the battery is near end of life, which would account for much reduced runtime.
You can test the battery:
Open an Administrator CMD prompt (CMD, run as Administrator).
Paste this command, and then press Enter:
powercfg /batteryreport
That will show a figure for the designed battery capacity (when new) and the current ("full charge") capacity.
If the test shows significantly reduced capacity, you may buy genuine Dell batteries direct from Dell. I checked and Dell has your batteries in stock.
