2018 vostro 15 3000 series
Is it right that a motherboard on a 2018 laptop should perish and is it right that Dell don’t care how and why this has happened
oh they said they could have helped for free but it’s over 2 years
2018 laptop
the year 2020
why wouldn’t Dell as a responsible and reputable company want to investigate why a motherboard that should last well over 2 years has failed
wouldn’t they want to know for their development what the issue was
internal or external cause

Any number of causes here: faulty component on the board, running too hot, exposure to external damage (it takes little liquid to cause enough corrosion to result in a no-power situation), physical shock -- you name it. It's also why it's prudent to buy a minimum 3-year warranty upgrade at purchase on any system, since the probability of failure is not insignificant and the cost of repairs high.
Just about everything these days is integrated on the system board, up to and including the RAM and SSD now with some models. And no, Dell isn't going to investigate the cause of failure, as the cost of doing so is not insignificant. On a low-end system like this one, the profit margin to Dell is as little as under $50 -- they're not going to pay to troubleshoot an out of warranty (or even an in-warranty system) where the cost would start at twice that -- and rapidly escalate up from there.

@AnneFoth
Messages from the Dell_Cares account are useless.
If you are out of warranty, which you are, your laptop won't get fixed.

I got a dell vostro 3000 on 14-10-2019, within 4 months i started getting problems with the battery it was not charging, so i claimed warranty service center took around more than 15 days to change the battery and gave it to me, than after a month again same issue started coming up, battery again got damaged and than again had to claim warranty, this time they took more than a month to replace the battery and i was not able to do my work till a month, they again replaced the battery and gave it to me, and now its not even a month and i got it back and now it started giving problems with the display, a green line started coming on my laptop now, so now again ill have to claim warranty for that also and god knows this time how much time they will take.
so my question is did bought my laptop to keep it at service center till my warranty gets over?
whats the use of paying such a high amount and buying the laptop and half the time its at service center and i cant do my work.
and what if after warranty same issues rises again ? after that service centers charges heavy amount for part replacement and why should i pay for a defective laptop which giving me problems more than 3 times in a year?
i need answers and also i need support for it. kindly revert asap to me thank you.
