Windows 11 compatibility
I hoped this would be a simple question, but now I am not so sure..... Is the Vostro desktop tower model 3670 ( supplied in the UK ) capable of running windows 11 ( Intel i3 8100 processor, but this is secondary to the motherboard question )
The Dell Win 11 compatibility checker website says it is, 100%, but Dell help advisors either say no / don't know / will it be Win 11 pro or home / avoid the question altogether !
Any sensible advice would be much appreciated !

i3-8100 is on the MS cpu list for Win11.
Vostro 3670 has TPM 2.0. just double check you have secure boot enabled in bios. or you can just try install win 11 and see if it will let you proceed.
TPM 2.0 Security Allows you to enable the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) during POST. The options are:
• TPM On (enabled by default)

The system documentation (e.g. this page) indicates Secure Boot is supported.

Thanks for the prompt reply, much appreciated - just to explain, I have not bought the PC yet, I don't want to spend a lot of money on an effectively ex demo PC that is not capable of being upgraded to Win 11 - I already have a PC that won't upgrade to Win 11, I don't want a second..... I did se a Dell website for ( I think ) the Middle East offering new Vostro 3670 desktops as new with Win 11 already loaded. TPM 2.0 is in the 3670 spec, I know the processor is compliant, I will look again at the product spec to see if it describes the secure boot situation - thanks again ! - any other thoughts would be much welcome, I think it is only the secure boot casting doubt.
