Besides the PC model and the CPU, you did not provide any information about the wireless products you have upgraded with, except they failed to work. My guess is since your Vostro 3670 support CNVio wireless cards, you may have bought and upgraded using CNVio2 cards. That's why they did not work because your system does not support them.
Depending on your current network, you can get something like an Intel AX200 for WiFi 6 or Intel AX210 for WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5. Because they are PCIe, the wireless card is independent from CPU and should work with your system.

My guess was correct, your new card was AX201, which is CNVio2. It is not compatible with your M.2 slot. Since you planned to upgrade to WiFi 6, you can follow my example link in previous post and search for AX200, which uses PCIe base WiFi and USB for Bluetooth. Note that it's M.2 card with AE key.

It's all depending on your current network and is up to you for which one to select for upgrade. Your pictured card is a WiFi 6E, which is faster than WiFi 6. It is one of the fastest cards your PC can support with. But, you must have a compatible WiFi 6E router setup ready for it to work at full potential.
As stated in your main query, you would like to know the correct card for upgrade. The issue from your failed upgrade should be resolved once you get the right card for upgrade. Which are either AX200 or AX210 as they are PCIe base with all wireless functions are in the cards. While your previously purchased cards were CNVio2, they are not backward compatible with CNVio and they are lack some hardware function and they were designed to rely and shared some wireless functions from the processor.

Your Vostro 3670 is not officially supporting WiFi 7. Therefore, no driver from Dell (see below). For practical daily usage of browsing and streaming, you may not see the performance differences between WiFi 6E and WiFi 7.
Although, if you like to test your system capability or just tinkering with technology, you can upgrade your wireless card to a BE200 NGW with E key. Run Windows update and let it install the driver.

As I mentioned, you may not see the different performances and it's up to you if you choose to upgrade. Don't have a Vostro to test with but I know the Intel BE200 works with a Kabylake system (and NO amd), then it would work with your Coffeelake system.

@Chino de Oro
my friend i goes to buy this model you said
and i reeds in the description it not support CNVio
if i remember correctly you told me before some time that my m.2 slot is CNVio
"GCMP, your data is protected from hackers on the way through the Wi-Fi adapter.
Compatibility: Supports Windows 10/11 64-bit. Compatible with any laptop or desktop with a standard NGFF M.2 Key E slot. (Not compatible with Key A, Key M and Key B slots). Motherboards and laptops marked with the CNVio transport protocol are not supported. (Not compatible with all AMD
motherboards) "
im not so understand what is this CNVio
but you know LoL
what you will say it what i will do
buy it or not ?
and of course, if I buy everything at my own risk you only give support and try to help and I really appreciate it !
