Upgrade to ssd and reinstall Windows 7 pro in vostro 3250...

I'd like to replace the original hard disk in my vostro 3250 with a ssd disk.

I've already figured out what ssd disk I want and how to mount it, but I dont know how to install the original Windows 7 pro that came with the old mechanical disk.

Would you please help me?

Thank you.

This is how 3250 3.5” hdd is mounted.

This relatively expensive 2.5 to 3.5 hard drive converter enclosure has the same dimensions as a standard 3.5" hard drive, including mounting points, and SATA connector locations.

another way is to install new 2.5 ssd in optical drive enclosure by using a caddy adapter which replaces original optical drive.

You can do a fresh clean install of Win 7 on new ssd using a Win 7 installation dvd or usb and activate it if you have COA key, or you can clone the old 3.5 mechanical hdd to new 2.5 ssd.
