VNX Simulator failure of command /nas/sbin/setup_clariion -init
VNX Simulator issue.
All, hope someone has seen this before, if not knows the resolution.
I have tried this with both versions 8.1.6 and 8.1.8 and both have failed when adding additional storage.
Have a working simulator, able to access Unisphere etc. Now adding additional storage is failing -
1) Added disks to VM OK
2) Added file systems to VM and mount OK
3) As root run the script # /nas/sbin/setup_clariion -init
3a) Add New Enclosure - OK
3b) Diskgroup Template Menu
3c) Wizard identifies correct unbound enclosure
3d) Select required RAID, in this case FC_RAID5_4+1_4+1_4+1
Error as per the image below.. Looks as if a called script is not receiving the correct parameter(s).

Hi Ian,
1- Edit /nas/sbin/setup_backend/setup_clariion2
nano /nas/sbin/setup_backend/setup_clariion2
2- Go to line 376 and comment out 4 lines below
# if( $rg_cnt > $rg_limit) {
# &common::error("Error: The number of RAID Groups exceeds ".
# "the $model RAID Group limit of $rg_limit\n");
# }
3- Re-run the command
/nas/sbin/setup_clariion -init
