LUNS cannot belong to storage group when expanding?
HI All,
I am new to VNX, and I am preparing for my exam. Please correct me if I am wrong.
My understanding is, in order to present a LUN a host, it need to be in a storage group (or better in the SG for easy management)
if you remove the LUN in the storage group, the host can't see the LUN
if this statement "LUNS cannot belong to storage group when expanding" is true, So does it means that it can't expand on the fly?
As we know, VNX is definitely can expand the LUN on the fly, so is the statement is wrong?
