I want to update my vnx 5300 Disks.last week I updated OE version to 221.disks vendors are different.some of them Hitachi and the others are seagate.I want to know:
1-Where can I download latest firmware?(I don't have power link account and not a EMc Partner)
2-Is Disk Firmware update Process Online or should be done Offline?

the disk upgrade is done using the USM (Unisphere Service Manager). USM will download the correct disk firmware. There is no external link for the disk firmware.
USM will indicate if the disk firmware is on-line of off-line. I believe that all disk firmware upgrades are now on-line, but I can't be sure about all of them.

Not if there are no existing errors on the array. You should always have a current backup just in case. There is a slight risk of a disk failing if the disk is marginal.

Not that I'm aware of - disk firmware updates are usually to correct issues found, but as far as I know there are no release notes for disk firmware changes.

See answer to #2. There is a KB that lists all the disks and which firmware is current - see KB 492509
