vmware native multipath with celerra Ns40
Hello ,
we have several vsphere hosts and a celerra Ns40. We are currently using link aggregation with iscsi. we want to use vmware native multipath. I think we need to configure an iscsi target with multiple ip address , each esx host has 4 uplink port for the iscsi network. we have 12 iscsi target at the cellera . Do we need to configure each iscsi target with 4 ip address ? is there any detail document about vmware native multipating with celerra ?
Thank you.

The best summary I have seen on iSCSI multipathing with vSphere is on Chad's blog, here:
http://virtualgeek.typepad.com/virtual_geek/2009/09/a-multivendor-post-on-using-iscsi-with-vmware-vsphere.html
It goes through exactly how to leverage multiple paths on Celerra (and others).
Thanks,
Scott

Hi scott,
Thanks for the responce .
I've already read it. I need more detail. I'm not sure how many ip adress must be configured in an iscsi target. I've 12 iscsi target in celerra and 4 uplink port in vsphere host for the iscsi network. Do i need to configure 4 ip adress in an iscsi target?
Thank you
