vFoglight 6.6 and Hyper-v issue
I have installed vFoglight 6.6 and integrated it with my Hyper-V host, however, the data collector service keeps stopping on the host and an error is genrated which suggests "The agent is having difficulty connecting to the remote host. Please make sure the host is up and configured correctly".
Everything looks fine to me, I can ping the host, UAC is disabled, Firewalls are disabled. Does anyone have any other suggestions what I should be looking for?

Hello Matt,
What version of Hyper-V are you running? What is the authentication method (WMI/WinRM) the agent is using? My suggestion would be to open a Support Case to investigate the issue further.

All requirements can be found in the pdf: Installing the Hyper-V Management Capabilities

Tried WS-Man and DCOM and no joy with either. Hyper-V is 2008 R2 SP1.

There are a bunch of required configuration settings for both WMI & WinRM. We will need a WebeX eeting to review your environment.

I have just seen an option to edit the Hyper-V service, I have done this and it seems to be working now, i didn't need to do this when monitoring my VMware environment. Thanks
