hi ,

thanks for this two KB but i have syntax error when you type command

uemcli /stor /config/profile -traditional -configurable show

current code is 4.4 and unity cli is 5.1

he can't recognize traditional and when  i remove traditional  not show any profile start with letter t but the existing pool is traditional with sas drives with maximum no. of drives . i need to create ssd with 5 drives

Are the 15 drives that are in the system SSD or Triditional HDD?

the existing pool type is Triditional with 15 sas drives , we had upgrade with 5 drives flash ssd 400GB only solution is to create new pool as Triditional  also .

Since you have SSD as your new drives you will need to create a new pool.  What raid type were you wanting the new pool to be?

You should be able to create a second traditional pool as you have the required amount of drives for a raid5.

my problem is i can't create traditional  pool with new five SSD drives from cli 

as explained the command as per your kb attached to create pool isn't recognized word traditional at type argument 

maybe your problem is because you dont have a matching SSD spare
