VENUE 11 PRO TABLET KEYBOPARD - MOBILE Battery
I have a Venue 11 Pro 5130 and I purchased the tablet keyboard with the battery. I am having an issue with the battery keyboard's battery. For some reason, the battery does not APPEAR to be charging. It can only charge up to 30%. I have disabled the tablet battery and tested the keyboard battery separately, and I found that the battery doesn't properly discharge nor recharge. It has ONLY displayed as 30% and when the it dies, it doesn't provide any visual indication of decreased battery usage for the keyboard. The tablets battery is operating properly but the keyboard seems to be a problem. Any insight on this issue would be greatly appreciated. I have tried pretty much anything, from disabling the ACPI for the secondary battery, to uninstalling the ACPI for the second battery to re-installing it. Thanks,

I had a problem where my keyboard battery (7130) charged to 23% then stopped and would always show as "not charging" and the tablet would not use it; rather than ask for a replacement I thought I would investigate the problem.
I removed the four screws from the base and then removed the back; the only thing I could see is that the connector from the battery to the socket on the board was angled (not correctly seated) so all I did was push it firmly into place. Once the keyboard was then connected to the tablet it started charging and eventually reached 100% and is now being drained before the tablet battery.

Same Problem here. Keyboard is not charging. No indication light, when directly plugged no indication, when the tablet is docked.
Where can i find the 4 screws?
Edit:
Found it. There is a Video on Youtube:

On the base of the keyboard you need to lift the ends of the rubber strips to reveal the screws underneath. Once the screws are removed you will then need to split the base away from the top (carefully!).

Found it, reseated the cable from battery to the board. Now everything works. :emotion-1:
