Venue 11 Pro 7130 w/ vPro - Charging issues

This just started this weekend.  Granted, I have had the device for 10 days, so it could have been an issue before now and I only just now noticed it.

My Venue 11 Pro loses battery life while plugged in, and charging it overnight while it was off yielded a 15% charge only.  I am using the provided 24w charger with the original cable.  I have my Dell Power Manager set to Express Charge.

When I boot into BIOS, and click on Battery Info with the adapter plugged in, it says it's a 3w adapter.  This is obviously a problem.  I unplugged the adapter and plugged it back in to the micro USB port.  It then says it's a 23w adapter and begins to charge.  Great.  Until I realize that this "fix" only lasts for a few minutes, and my Venue 11 Pro is back to draining its battery while plugged in.

Has anyone else experienced this?  Do I have a faulty BIOS? Faulty hardware?

Well.  There's something wrong with the Mobo or port.  I tried a brand new charger with the same result - battery drains while plugged in, 24w adapter detected as 3w in BIOS.  If I can't get Dell to service it (refurb unit, apparently someone else still "owns" it in Dell's records), I'll just have to return it.

Mine did the same thing. I called Dell told them what was going on with the charging and they had me send it in and that they will replace the mother board. It sounded to me that this was a common thing because as soon as I told them the problem I was told that they would have me send it back to them and that they would need to replace the motherboard.. They send a prepaid box to return the tablet back to them.. I get mind back today, it took about 4 days from talking with them to getting it back..

Or maybe a faulty power adapter...
