Second monitor
OK I could really use some help with this one. :)
I have wired a connection between my DVP8 and my TV.
I have a HDMI connection (with drivers care of DisplayLink).
The problem I am having is with the display on my TV.
The settings on my DVP8 say I can get a variety of displays happening.
Extended monitors, Monitor1, Monitor2,Monitor1+Monitor2(same time).
Also, supposedly portrait and landscape for these.
I can never get a full screen landscape on my TV, alone.
The closest I can come is Extended monitors.
The problem with this is that I can't launch certain apps to show on my TV.
They will only show on my DVP8.
Some apps will allow me to drag them across onto my TV screen, but others won't!
When I try the Monitor1+Monitor2(same time) setting, the TV is being forced down to the resolution on my DVP8, and it also will not display in full landscape. Half the screen isn't used.
Any ideas how I can get this to work properly?
Thanks!

I was able to fix the problem by selecting one monitor only (not the tablet) and landscape mode.
I'm doing this now with my desktop and TV and it's working nicely.
The tablet seems to remember the settings too which is great. :)
Just plug in HDMI cable and go!

I don't know if this will fix things for you (I guess not, re-reading this--sorry), but the Dell product page for the DV8P has an update for the tablet's Intel driver, "Intel Platform Driver Installer," which fixes mirroring from the DV8P with Miracast.
