Running out of Disk Space
I have a Dell Venue 8 Pro 5830 with 23.5 GB of reported usable disk space on the C: drive. The Windows folder is taking 13.2 GB which includes all of the Windows Updates installed. The Users folder is 5 GB in size. The page, hiberfil.sys and swapfike.sys are taking 3.7 GB. The programData and Programfiles folders combine for 3.9 GB. Presently there is only 1.3 GB free space. It has been steadily decreasing. I had 6 GB free just a week ago. I have not installed any new apps and have actually uninstalled a few of the ones taking over 300 MB.
How do I recover any disk space? I have run the Disk Cleanup app numerous times including the System Files cleanup option. Are there any Windows folders that can be cleaned up?
The tablet is only six months old.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Peter
