Dell Venue 8 Stopped Charging
Hello,
I have had a Dell Venue tablet for 6 months, and one day the device stopped charging all together. I did notice this and continued using until it had died, since I use it for business purposes.
I have plugged it into different outlets and have even connected the USB to a laptop in hope that it will charge. Nothing has worked yet.
How do I go about getting help fixing this or having it replaced?
Thanks,

It should still be under warranty. Call Dell or use the chat function. Either the charger is bad or the power circuity in the pad is faulty.

I have the same experience and have called all Dell numbers, no help offered, so sickening to know that a defective product such as this has not been recalled till date!
Someone should speak !

Have you tried using another charger? A nice situation would be that the original charger--or even, just charger cable--has expired.

I would have to order one online since know stores carry the device or charger. Which is sad considering I live in a major metropolitan city.
Was not trying to wait days for a charger to come in, but I may try that.

The Blackberry Playbook charger works just great with the DV8P (and includes an attached 6'5" cable and foldable prongs, both an improvement on the Dell charger). Available from Amazon.com at under $5 shipped. :emotion-5:
