Cannot access iDRAC 8 web UI on oem r730xd

I got this OEM R730xd and trying to access iDRAC web UI but to no avail. This idrac has an enterprise license, I changed the network IP settings (set to static and also tried dhcp), I can ping the server afterwards but still can't access the web UI. Firmware are also in the latest versions, for this server - idrac is using v2.82.82.82, BIOS is v2.13.0. Also, I did an idrac reset to default factory defaults.

I did some googling and someone suggested that the webserver is probably disabled and might have to enable it using racadm command. I downloaded the tool from this link: https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=9dd9y and ran it on a remote PC with this syntax:

racadm -r -u -p set idrac.webserver.enable 1

even though I can ping the machine, re-checked the credentials I'm using, I'm getting this error:
ERROR: Unable to connect to RAC at specified IP address.

I cannot also access idrac via ssh.

Not sure how to proceed at this point, any ideas are appreciated.

Thanks for this, I tried some of the solutions on that troubelshooting steps to no avail. I ended up installing an OS on the r730xd server itself, installed the tool, and ran the racadm command without the remote (-r) flag, and that works for me.

Hi Sir.  I had the same problem on my Dell R730XD. I can't connect iDrac via web browser. I have tried many ways that I searched on Google. I have also reset iDrac but still not connect. On my server, I had installed windows server 2022 data center. Please help me sovle this problem. Many thanks, Sir.

Hi, first of all, W2K23 DC for R730XD does not appear among supported operating systems. Although this does not mean that it will not work, some incompatibilities may cause problems. You were able to use it before, but you cannot use it after making a change on the server? Other than that, please review your iDRAC configuration again. If you see an error, please share it. Plesae take a look below two articles to setup iDRAC.
