static srdf
I have static srdf pair configured in DMX.. I want to create 5 new symm dev in local symm as RDF1 and corresponding RDF2 device in remote symm...
can i create a pair between R1 and R2 using static srdf group...

it's very important that you specify correct RA group, you can view RA groups with this command:
symcfg list -RA ALL -switched -sid 1234

you can not use "create pair" with static SRDF, you will need to use the steps mentioned in that thread.

can we use symrdf createpair command for static rdf group...
we are doing same in both case...
creating rdf1 device group and then establishing connection..
in dynamic we are using create pair command..
for static srdf pair ..below steps are the right procees or not...can somebody confirm.
1: create five device as rdf1-R-5 type
2:create rdf1 type device group
3:put all devices in rdf1 device group
4:create a pair file
5: Use symrdf createpair command to make srdf relation
