Meta Operation
While adding a member to a stripped meta we do sepcify protect_data= TRUE, bcv_meta_head=SymDevName; so that the configuration manager
automatically creates a protective copy to the BCV meta of the original device striping.
What is the equivelent to remove a member from a stripped meta?

You cannot remove a member from a striped META. The only way to make a striped META smaller is to create a new one and restore the data onto that one.

You're welcome. Sometimes simple questions invoke simple answers. Unfortunately this particilar one implies it's not possible to reduce the size of a META
