LUN address seen in SMC set dynamic lun
Is this the exact LUN address seen by the host, example if I see 100 in the dynamic lun column in SMC will the host see 100 as the LUN address for that LUN, i mean this to be decimal ??

EMC channel address is always in hex and many hosts present the lun address as decimal so yes you need to convert it if you are going to tell the host people what the lun address will be.

I hate to say this but its an it depends. If they have the storage plug in for virtual center (free plug-in) they can track it down completely. I am in a meeting and cannot log in to our Vcenter from where I am to validate how the channel address is presented within Vcenter.
