MS recommends we uninstall .NET runtime v5 and replace with v6. Breaks SA.

.NET runtime v5 is now officially eol and MS asks us to upgrade to v6 which continues to be supported.  However apparently SA is hard coded to look only for v5 and will not work with v6.  Please advise.
