VmWare agent password changing
Hi,
I control several ESX sevrer on my ECC console.
The vmware administrator changed the root password yesterday and now I need to change it too.
Is there any easily way to change the password used by the vmware agent, avoiding to rediscover each host?
Many thanks
Bye

Hi,
No you will need to re-discover the ESX Servers with the new root password for to be able to successfully discover in ControlCenter.
To prevent this from happening again. Create a non-root VMware ESX user account that is compatible with ControlCenter for assisted discovery by following the steps in primus solution emc165970
