Stopping generic alert from being issued
How does one stop a specific generic agent alert from being issued?
On a daily basis I receive the following alert from a Windows-based ECC server that does not have any HBAs installed:
"MNRESN107W No HBAs discovered for this host. Host may not have HBAs installed or the HBA driver(s) may not be supported."
I don't want to stop the Generic Agent Alert from running on this windows work station but I would like to stop receiving this specific alert in the ECC console. How can I accomplish this task?
Thanks.

If you look on powerlink there is a hot fix that fixes this problem
Patch4067 rings a bell but please check this ?
EMC ControlCenter 6.0 Patch 4067 software download. Patch 4067 addresses an issue with certain Windows hosts from producing a ControlCenter alert during the DCP run: " No HBAs discovered for this host. Host may not have HBAs installed or the HBA driver(s) may not be supported" . This condition occurs even though the host was initially fully discovered.
best regards
