Master agent uninstall

I am needing to uninstall the master agent on an HP-UX server. and their are 2 agents running MHR520 and ECCMAD. I know the ECCMAD is for the Master agent but was wondering what the MHR520 is tied to.

Any help is great!

MHR520 is a Host Agent for HP-UX. You can stop and uninstall it from ControlCenter Console. You can stop Master Agent with eccmad stop command (should be under /usr/ecc/exec/eccmad). Once everything but Master Agent is removed, and Master Agent is stopped, you can uninstall it. Uninstall script is uninstall_master.sh and should be under /usr/ecc as well. Hope this helps...

Does anybody know how to do this in Windows? I am having problems after a 5.2sp5 upgrade to 6.0. The server the agent is on was rebooted and the Master will not restart. I was going to remove the Master and re-install but the uninstall_master.bat is missing from the directory where it is supposed to reside. Restarting the agent from the console is unsuccefull. I tried an install from the 6.0 media using the GUI but it comes back with a message that a master agent already exists.
Thanks for the help,
John

Be cautious, very cautious. I was able to do this in windows by deleting the &eccroot&/exec directory and then re-installing the master agent with the 6.0 media. After that I re-installed all the agents that were installed on that server with push from the console. All is well now except for the wla agent, but I don't think it is related to the master agent re-install unless it has to do with the .lck file I have been reading about. I will check that tomorrow.
