ionix upgrade to UB8

I just upgraded from 6.1 UB7 to 6.1 UB8 (6.1.0.8.470) and it appeared to upgrade successfully - no error messages.

I upgraded my console and that was successful but trying to launch the console I now get:

The EMC ControlCenter server on host is offline. Try again later. (Connection refused).

It connected fine before, and prior to upgrading to UB8, I applied the latest oracle update patch and also verified that I could connect to the console.

Help.

Can you stop All the ControlCenter services.

Stop and restart the Oracle Services ensure they remain active

1) Ensure the network adapter binding order is correct since the upgrade.

2) Run ramb_mediarecovery.bat from %ECC_INSTALL_ROOT%\Repository\admin\Ramb_Scripts\ and provide the output.

3) Run the ecc_getversion.bat script found here: %ECC_Install_root%\Repository\admin\Ramb_scripts\ and provide the output.

If the above commands are successfully restart the ControLcenter Server service (ensure it remains active) and try to launch the console and login. If successfully restart all the remaining ControlCenter services.

If any of the above scrirts fail to run correctly or the issue remains after the ControLcenter server service was restarted.

Please open a SR with support and attach the following logs

1) From the host where the ControlCenter Server service is installed:
%ECC_INSTALL_ROOT%\ecc_inf\data\ \data\server.trc
%ECC_INSTALL_ROOT%\ecc_inf\data\ \data\server.trc.x.gz
%ECC_INSTALL_ROOT%\ecc_inf\data\ \data\ecc_server.ini

2) From the host where the Repository is installed: %ECC_INSTALL_ROOT%\Repository\admin\rambdb\bdump\alert_rambdb.log

3) Output of the above scripts ecc_getversion.bat & ramb_mediarecovery.bat

4) Ziped up contents of the C:Temp directory for inforamtion on the UB8 installation

5) Oracle patch Information

On Command line change to the following directory: %ECC_Install_Root%\Repository\OPatch

Enter the following command from the OPatch directory: opatch lsinventory > opatch_inven.txt
