ECC 6.0 agent on Windows 2008

I have installed ecc master agent 6.0.0.0.33 on Windows 2008 server, The install went fine. When i look at the host in ECC the agent displays as stopped. I have restarted on host- looks fine for a moment then ECC indicates agent has stopped again. The master is still active on client server.
Whats really weird is the host properties display as windows 2000 in ECC.

Cant install host agent. looking for help :o)

Hi,

Please install the latest host agent patch#4533, which changes the build identity to 6.0.0.0.678. This has a fix for Master and agent support on Windows 2008 ( Longhorn server ).

Due to Agent Version dependency issue¿s of the Server, Store and Console it is recommended that the following should be upgraded to the following agent versions or later prior to applying patch 4533:

Java All to: Build Version 6.0.0.0.607
CLARiiON Agent : Build Version 6.0.0.0.538
FCC Agent to: Build Version 6.0.0.0.529

Did you find your answer from the posts in the other thread? Did the logs tell you what was wrong?

I have installed the patches as suggested. Looking at the latest patch releases, I am up to date on everything.

My master is 6.0.0.0.33 .... the patch 4533 did not update the master.

After applying the patch, the windows 2008 server in ECC still indicates the master agent as inactive. I uninstalled and reinstalled master agent on Client. Same result.

Where would I get the Host Agent Patch #4533? When I go to
"Home > Support > Software Downloads and Licensing > Downloads C > ControlCenter v 6.x" I don't see it listed.

The latest host agent patch that I'm able to download is 4293. This patch includes support for Windows 2008, but it doesn't seem right to install because I've applied the following patches which are at a higher version than this.

Listed below are the patches that I've applied and in they are in the order applied.

Patch 4300
Patch 4434
Patch 4439
Patch 4441
Patch 4477
Patch 4471
Patch 4497
Patch 4446

Please Assist,
