(redirected) e6500 laptop dvd drive isn't opening up when I press the button.

Hi everyone I have been recently experiencing rather a lot of difficulty with regards to getting my dvd rw optical drive to open up. I have checked the drivers and reckons its working fine. looked in bios to see if there was any options to try. reset it and still nothing.

the model: TS-U633 on the drive in question.

hoping someone has an idea to try on this issue please?
