Problems running performance check
Hello my name is Luiza and I have a Dell Inspiron 3521.
A couple of weeks ago my laptop started to show blue screens. I tried to recover it in so many ways and none of them solved my problem.
Then, two days ago I was able to recover to factory settings, however the problem was still there ( the blue screen).
When running a performance check up it gave the following error:
Error Code 2000-0151
Validation 106482
Msg: Hard Drive 0 - S/N S316J90DB31960, incorrect status= 32
No additional sense information.
What does it means?

Under warranty: contact Dell with the exact error and validation code and they'll replace the drive.
Out of warranty: you'll need a new 2.5" SATA notebook drive (hard drive, hybrid drive or SSD) -- your hard drive has failed.

Error code 2000-0151 indicates the hard drive has failed and you need to replace it, followed by reinstalling windows, drivers and applications.

Unfortunately hard drives can fail at any time, hence the reason for warranties and keeping your data backups to other media current.
You can read more about this subject Here:

Would you know what could have caused my hard drive to fail?
