Internal Hard Disk Replacement for Dell Inspiron 1525
I have to replace the hard disk of my Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop. The current one i have is from Seagate 2.5", 160 GB and 5400 RPM. The space should be 500 GB or less. I prefer Seagate Momentus Thin ST500LT012 500GB 5400 RPM. Would this be compatible with my laptop. Else, could you kindly suggest another replacement for this drive.

Any 2.5" SATA drive will work -- if you go with a 7 mm drive ("thin") you likely will need a spacer to mount the drive, as the system is designed to take a 9.5 mm drive and the thinner one may not make contact with the system board without the spacer.
I'd go with WD or HGST drives -- Seagate has had reliability issues of late.
